This page is crappy... but it's the last part... I'll probably end up redoing alot of this project, but as I had less than a week to do this all in, I didn't really have time for inking and good stuff like that. By this one I was just tired...

Oh, I remember the lines so well to this scene:
For the father,
"With that the bird let fall the gold chain, and it fell just round the man’s neck, so that it fitted him exactly."
and little Marleen
".....and he threw down the shoes to her. And she now felt quite happy and lighthearted; she put on the shoes and danced and jumped about in them."
But, of course, my favorite part:
The step-mother
"’Then I will go out too,’ she said, ’and see if it will lighten my misery, for I feel as if the world were coming to an end.’
But as she crossed the threshold, crash! the bird threw the millstone down on her head, and she was crushed to death."
I love how you drew this, and the comic itself was awsome! The Juniper Tree is one of my all time favorite stories. Awsome job!
